Papa’s

My first time to Bequia, we arrived a little on the late side. By the time we settled in our room, had walked around a bit, and began to feel hungry, it was after 8 PM. As pointed out we were definitely off season and many places hadn’t even opened up yet. Sabrina pointed us towards Papa’s. It turned out to be so comfortable and reliable that we were there two more times over the course of our first stay. And went back a few times the next year. It had a surprisingly bohemian feel, with funky art, a wide and warm sitting area, and a bar that was expatriate in character.

Papa’s also turned out to be a fixture on Admiralty Bay when you sailed on the ferry, looking out and waving goodbye when you left and shouting a welcome to you when you returned to harbor.
