One of the best things she introduced me to was the airport hotel. It&#8217;s a little adventure, where you rest on arriving after a long flight. Or it could be just before a long flight. In this case it was after the wonderful but long 13 hour flight from New York to Tokyo and the place we stayed for a night was the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.okura-nikko.com\/japan\/tokyo\/hotel-jal-city-haneda-west-wing\">Hotel JAL City Haneda Tokyo West Wing<\/a>. It was a delight. From the shuttle bus from the terminal to the excellent cafe just off the lobby, it was a perfect introduction to Japanese hospitality.
