Like staying with a friend, who is also devoted to taking care of you. Kayoko, the owner, is the most gracious and understanding hostess. She was an incredible resource. From grocery shopping to historic walks, places to eat to the best train to take, she pointed us in the right direction and her conversations gave us depth and background for everything we did in Nara. We felt we had made a great friend.
